What to Expect

Where do I park?
There is a small church parking lot reserved for those with mobility issues and visitors. Street parking is free on Sundays and there is a surface lot directly behind the church, accessible off Thompson. There is also a parking structure on Maynard which is free on Sundays. Compared to the usual challenge of downtown parking, Sunday mornings is a breeze!

What will the service be like?
The 9 am service will be very casual and gives off the coffee house vibe. The 10 am follows a traditional order of a church service, including unison readings, prayers, and hymns. Both services last approximately 50 min. to 1 hr.

Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code; on a given Sunday you will see everything from suits to jeans in both worship services. Join us in what is comfortable for you.

Where do my children go during the service?
Nursery care is available 0-2 years with screened and consistent childcare workers. If you’d like to keep your infant or child with you in worship you are more than welcome. Feel free to move about during the service as is needed. Church school begins with preschool (3-5 years) and continues through high school. Preschoolers may be dropped off before the service and checked into their class. They are also welcome to come forward for children’s circle and be excused to church school at that time. Usually, children K-8 have a children’s circle with the pastor and leave from the sanctuary with their teachers. Parents pick them up from the lower level Christian Education wing following service. Further questions? Contact Sarah.

Who is welcome?
Everyone, infant, child, and adult, is welcome. Whatever your story, you’re welcome here. We mean it.
