As we must celebrate Easter safely and not with our usual in-person worship and Easter Breakfast in Pilgrim Hall, we miss seeing each other’s faces and checking in with one another. In 2019, the City Council of Ann Arbor endorsed a plan for Ann Arbor to be carbon neutral by 2030. Work on achieving this goal will impact all aspects of the city and its operations. Preserving the planet for future generations will be helped by many other cities adopting the pioneering work underway in Ann Arbor.…

Annual Meeting

All covenant members of the church are called to the annual meeting on Sunday at 11:15 a.m. The meeting will be hybrid format, with those who are willing and able to attend in person and others participating over Zoom. Lenten Meditation Concert

Abendmusik: Sacred Vocal Chamber Works of Dietrich Buxtehude: First Congregational Church & American Center of Church Music. Directed by U-M music professor Joseph Gascho, using period instruments, students from the U-M Baroque Chamber Ensembles perform Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri, which is cited as perhaps the first Lutheran oratorio, a cycle of seven cantatas, each a meditation on the “holy limbs of our suffering Jesus.” Also, First Congregational Church Organist Tim Huth plays solo organ works, and Gascho plays solo harpsichord…
