Contemporary Issues: Ukraine in Context

Second Sunday Contemporary Presentation at 11 a.m. following worship on Sunday, April 10, in the Mayflower Room. The presentation will be by our own church member, Dr. Michael Makin, Professor of Slavic Languages and Literature at the University of Michigan. The title of the presentation is: “Ukraine in Context.” In his presentation, Michael will discuss the historical and cultural context of Ukraine and Russia which may help us to understand the conflict that has engulfed Ukraine since the 24th of February.
