Contemporary Issues: April 11, 2021

April 11, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Contemporary Issues. April 11, 2021, at 11:15 am, after church

A large number of cities have set goals for being carbon neutral by 2050. In 2019, the City Council of Ann Arbor endorsed a plan for Ann Arbor to be carbon neutral by 2030. Work on achieving this goal will impact all aspects of the city and its operations. Preserving the planet for future generations will be helped by many other cities adopting the pioneering work underway in Ann Arbor.

This ambitious effort is being led by the city’s Office of Sustainability and Innovation. Dr. Missy Stults, Ph.D., manager of the Office, will explain the work that is underway and talk about how this involves the community.
