The Advent Women’s Evening will take place on Thursday, December 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. Pilgrim Hall will be sparkling with Christmas decorations, Simply Scrumptious Catering will provide a dinner buffet, and our very own Dr. Timothy Huth has graciously offered to festively tickle those ivories for us throughout the evening. Seating is limited to 80 women.
The cost is $20.00 per ticket. Childcare and a children’s dinner will be provided, by reservation only, at no additional cost.

Annual Christmas Bake Sale
PLEASE DONATE TO THE FESTIVE HOLIDAY BAKE SALE
Our annual Christmas bake sale, whose funds provide the evergreen roping that adorns the inside and outside of the church, will be on Sunday, December 15, in the Mayflower Lobby, following both the 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. services. Donations of all kinds of baked goods, jellies, and jams, soup and herb mixes, relishes, and candies are needed. Please remember our nut-free policy: no nuts or products containing nuts should be brought to the sale.

Each year FCC has a ChristmasPageant with live animals during the 5:30 p.m. Christmas Eve service. Sign-ups for all roles will start on Sunday, November 10th. Rachel will be accepting role requests in the church school lobby before and after each service. Sign-up sheets will be in the lobby for self sign-up after the first week.
**All participants with a speaking role, lead role or a role that interacts with a live animal are required to attend a dress rehearsal on Monday, December 23rd from 10 a.m to 12 p.m.
We are a group of people in our 20s through 40s who are interested in trekking through the terrain of young adulthood, relationships, parenting, grad school, and more in a faithful community setting. We are single, married, and parents, and a very laid back group. We gather at church Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. We are currently doing a book study on Ana Levy-Lyons book: “No Other Gods: The Politics of the Ten Commandments.” Childcare is provided. We discuss the scripture for the upcoming Sunday sermon, sharing our understandings, insights, and our questions. Want to try a small group but don’t want to commit to something for months on end? Then our Tuesday Night Series is for you. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Mayflower Room. At TNS, we view and discuss a variety of relevant and interesting theological issues. The different series often last 5 to 8 weeks, with scheduled breaks between series. Everyone is welcome!
