Actions In Place of Worry

Text: Matthew 6:27 International Children’s Bible (ICB)

Scripture Reading:

Matthew 6:27 International Children’s Bible (ICB)

27 You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it.

Reflection:

Worrying doesn’t add time to our lives but I find that I need an action to help me feel like I’m doing my part when I start worrying. Praying, talking to a friend, or working on a project all help me to put my energy into something more positive than worrying. Do you have a go-to action that helps you when you find yourself worrying about something?

Prayer: Dear God, thank you for the reminder that worrying doesn’t help. Thank you for actions that we can do to help calm us when we find ourselves worrying. Amen.
