In our Middle School (6th-8th grades) and Senior High (9th-12th grades) Youth Groups, students learn about themselves and their community—and have a lot of fun doing it.

Adult volunteers lead the groups in social and service activities at the church and in our community. The students bond with each other during fun activities, such as canoeing, laser tag, archery, bowling, and whirly ball, and on more serious-minded activities such as mission trips and youth retreats.

Mission Trips
Each summer, our Senior High Youth Group participates on a week-long mission trip. In the past four years, we have travelled to South Dakota, Kentucky, Tennessee, and St. Louis. We have served in urban, rural, and Native American populations so that we have a youth repairing ceilingwell-rounded experience of the unique needs of various types of mission and service work. Every four years, we plan an international mission experience. This allows our youth have a broader world-view as well as have the opportunity to live out their faith through the service and action they provide.  We share the love of the gospel through by getting outside of our own needs and serving our neighbors who are in need. During the trip, we also have the opportunity to spend a free day doing adventure activities such as white water rafting. The destination of our 2010 trip is Gatlinburg, TN. We will be doing home-repair projects for a rural population that is in need.

What better way for teens to explore and grow in their faith than to work as God’s hands to make life more beautiful for those less fortunate than themselves?
