Traditional Values, Progressive Ideas

The First Congregational Church of Ann Arbor is a community of Christian inclusiveness—a safe, secure place to investigate faith. You may sense the diversity and individual freedom here. We share, with one another, a commitment to Christ and community.

Our congregation has been rooted in central Ann Arbor for more than a century and a half. We began here in 1847, and we have been in the same beautiful church building at the corner of East William and North State Streets since 1876.

The church's traditions go back even further—to the Pilgrims and their ancestors, who valued independent belief as they made their way on their own spiritual journeys.

You are Invited . . .

Please join us this Sunday for our service. We'd love to meet you. Please see our Visitor's Guide for dates, times, and directions.
