New Living the Questions series:
"Eclipsing Empire: Paul, Rome and the Kingdom of God"
This series will begin in fall 2008. Check back for more information.

Glacier Hills Adult Discussion Group (with the Rev. Bob Livingston):  This group meets Wednesday mornings at Glacier Hills Retirement Community, 1200 Earhardt Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. The book we will use for the first series of sessions is, A New Christianity For a New World, by John Shelby Spong. Everyone is welcome to join the discussion group. Please call Bob Livingston at 662-1679 ext. 14 for more details. Books are available for purchase in Pilgrim Hall or from Reverend Livingston.

Mind and Spirit Book Group: The Mind and Spirit Book Group is a community of women of all ages who enjoy reading and sharing our life stories as a means of personal and spiritual growth. The meetings will be held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 10:15 a.m. We encourage you to please consider joining us. Women’s Journey Group: The Women's Journey Group is an opportunity for women to share their spiritual growth and the experiences of their faith journeys. Meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Mayflower Room. Each meeting consists of meditation, prayer, and discussion of some spiritual topic of mutual interest. Other activities may include art, music, attending talks, relevant films, visiting places of spiritual interest nearby, sharing books, and other pursuits the group decides upon. Activities and Fellowship Committee Personal Development Series: The AFC organizes monthly social events during the school year. The committee has also begun offering interactive workshops facilitated by experienced professionals throughout the year.

Library: The First Congregational Church of Ann Arbor’s circulating library offers a variety of books with a religious thrust, from theology to personal conduct and experience, to religious fiction and children's books. Alice Tankard, a church volunteer, serves as librarian.
