Having your wedding at our church

Thank you for your interest in holding your wedding at The First Congregational Church of Ann Arbor. Your wedding is a most significant event in your lives and a sacred ministry of this church. We are happy to offer our wedding package to members and non-members alike. The following guidelines and information help ensure that your wedding day will be very special and beautiful for you and your families.

Should you decide to hold your wedding at The First Congregational Church of Ann Arbor we will need five items from you to secure a date. Please download the forms, print them out and, once completed, mail them to the church office along with your $150 deposit. If you have any specific questions, or would like to discuss specific dates and times, please contact Betty Jahnke by email at .

1. Application Form (MS Word .doc). Please fill it in as completely as possible and sign (one signature is needed).
2. Wedding date and rehearsal time. Be sure to fill in your requested wedding date and rehearsal time on the Application Form. Changes may be made later, if possible.
3. Consent to Premarital Counseling Form (pdf). Please include both of your signatures and date the form.
4. Current Rental Policies Form (pdf). One signature, please.
5. $150 security deposit. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is needed to reserve your date.

When we've received the above items your wedding and a rehearsal time will then be placed on our wedding calendar and a confirmation letter will be mailed to you.
